Necklace: The fabric has to be pretty soft, maybe rayon. That would make good tight knots. You can hand sew the seams...unless you purchase a very long piece of fabric, use the lengthwise grain and waste the rest. I cannot see what the "flowers" are? A.

I have some pretty lenin that I want to use. I think we will go to Anthropologie here and look at the necklace. What do you mean about using the lengthwise grain? I will call you this weekend. It has been a while since we have talked. J

Their web site says it is made from cotton and plastic!
