Feathers On the Ceiling

The feathers and natural things hanging from the ceiling are what attracted me to this photo. We have little hooks in the window sill in the kitchen which we used to hang herbs on. I have thought about taking them down since only the catfish is hanging from there now. Maybe I should rethink this.

Gray

Gray seems to be every where; interior and fashion. The silver frames add lightness and sparkle to the room. The blackboard framed in the mantel is a great touch. It all works in the photograph, but how would it translate in a home?

The colors are so rich in this photograph. I wonder if they would translate into a clothing outfit?

Fun Furniture

 

There is something that appeals to me with these drawers. Do you think that they us drawers that they find on the street or from used furniture stores? If that is the case then no two would be alike. You could have different things assigned to go in different drawers. That could be nice. How do you move the piece? Do you take it apart and rearrange it? Are the depth of the drawers the same? More questions than answers.

Boxwoods

 

 This is a neat and orderly photo. The pots and boxwoods are like soldiers at attention. Are boxwood in a round shape a French thing?

Blue Chair

Yellow is not my favorite color, but I certainly like the yellow leather coming through the blue in this worn chair seat. the large blue prints on the wall are a nice complement.
