Boxes

What sturdy handles on paper boxes. The color of the box is being concealed by the paper labels that must tell what is inside. I want a peek!

More Stripes

Bed linens are a popular place for stripes.

Stripes every where in this photo; on the bed, pillows, the sweater, the shoes and the flag.

The above three images from Livingston Company.

Rugs are the second most popular place for stripes.

Above two images from Victoria Hagan Interiors.

This continues the stripes on the bed linens and the blue, but I can not remember where the images is from. But I am looking...

Thomas O'Brien

Outdoor living room of a pool house.

His personal space is more interesting than what he does for others.

It looks like the same image, the constellations, was used for a client as he used in his home.

The photos of his walls are my favorite, lots of images to study. The color blue seems to dominate in his home.

Ted Muehling

Ted Muehling designs jewelry and decorative objects inspired by organic forms found in nature. In looking through New York Interiors published by Taschen, his studio/shop was features so the quest began and what a treasure trove of visuals have been found. Anyone who uses rocks, shells, insects as their inspiration I am going to like, especially with designs that are so clean and crisp. His work space is another story.

I have long collected photos of coral porcelain objects, maybe they were by Ted Muehling, maybe not. Ted designs for Porzellan-Manufactur Nymphenburg in Germany. He also has collaborations with E.R. Butler & Co.

More Sibella Court

Above two photo from the portfolio of James Merrell.

The yellow chase hanging in the window is wonderful. What a fun touch and a great way to attract attention. Customers would be able to see you shop window above all the crowds.

Icons by Tashen

While looking through Brussels Style one night last week, lo and behold I noticed it was from Taschen Publishers. I should not be surprised. The end papers have an ICON logo and a note to buy the series, but of course. This is the only one of the series that we own. I have never felt compelled to collect the rest of the series and the others that I have looked at do not interest me. However, I am interested in researching some of the photographers and people in Brussels Style.

The chairs are my favorite.

Buenos Aires looked interesting so here is a peek.

"Eclectic apartment of artist Gustavo Godoy, decorated floor to ceiling with colorful antiques and religious paraphernalia."

Curtains with a lining that shows when they are pulled to the side have a certain richness about then and the stripes on these do not disappoint.

Manny Rodriguez and Birds

These are some of the birds found in the portfolio of Manny Rodriguez. The background in all these is beautiful, is it wallpaper that has had additional painting? Who cares, it is rich, textural and had depth.

An interesting way to display plates, hang them from ribbon!

This reminds me of "Love and truth will meet; justice and peace will kiss. Truth will spring from the earth; justice will look down from heaven." Psalm 85:11-12

Funny bird peeking out from the flower arrangement in the center. Killer background.

Birds in the wallpaper, prints and ceramic birds on stands. Stripes in the pillows, headboard and the quilt.

There are many other beautiful images in the portfolio of Manny Rodriguez, the birds where what stood out to me when his work was first showcased on Desire to Inspire.
