Wrapping Paper
Natural with Red Zig Zag Pattern
Red with Silver Twigs
Red with Stars and Moons
Red with Silver Leaves
All the above are paper from Napalese papers. The sheets are 30 x 40 and these sheets range in price from $5.50 to $6.50 each. How pretty would it look to have packages wrapped with these papers under the tree!

White Rooms
More white rooms with a few pieces of very dark wood. With white floors all the white dog hairs would not show up as much!
What a peaceful room. Is it because of the cleanliness, the lack of clutter, the abundance of natural light? Whatever, it all work for me. I particularly like the layers of blankets on the bed in white, cream and natural in what looks like a variety of weights and textures.
Beach Studio is a web site for locations. Wonderful images. I do wonder if they are sparse for clients to envision how their produces would look or if they just naturally look this way?

Viewpoint
Anthony, 2007
Wonderful perspective on this image. There are several other images in the photographer's portfolio from this viewpoint, but this is the best.

Table Setting
Björkris, vide, vaktelägg, äggskal, fattigmanssilver....
Although I am unable to read anything written on this blog beauty is a universal language. What a delightful centerpiece that can be adapted to different seasons with a few additions. Tiny violets or bulbs starting to sprouting for spring, acorns and baby pine cones for fall and tiny silver ornaments for Christmas. The possibilities are endless...

Work Space
When Desire to Inspire posted the loft designed by the editors of Country Home I immediately recognized it as the work of Mary Emmerling. If this is in my tear sheet file then it needs to be pitched now. I do wonder if Mary is interested in the Sacred Heart of Jesus or if she just collects them as a design motif?

Feeling Anything But Blue
Blue is not my color of choice, but what is not to like about this photo by Tim Clinch? The light creates such a beautiful gradation of color on the wall and highlights the uneven corner. The table looks like it is being propped up by the wall. What graceful legs on the table and chair. It makes me happy to look at this photo.
There are other great photographs in Tim's portfolio, but this image deserved a post of its own.

White Hearts
What a creative way to us bits and pieces of fabric and lace. Too bad that I cleaned out all all my odd doilies and lace and gave to the American Kidney Fund, or may it is good that I did. I will not be buying any more, but maybe I can find enough pieces to make a heart.
The layers and the texture of it all is so nice with the ever so thin silver wire holding it all together. The rough edges of the fabric keep it from being too precious.
The top two photos look like the heart is made of burlap that is covered with lace while the bottom two photos look like the heart is covered with strips of burlap. The burlap looks like it is painted. There are lots more little embellishments in the second heart.

All Souls' Day

All Saints' Day
Solemnity celebrated on the first of November. It is instituted to honour all the saints, known and unknown, and according to Urban IV, to supply any deficiencies in the faithful's celebration of saints' feast during the year.
We are all called to be saints.
These tombstones are in Milltown and LaFayette, Alabama. The photos were taken in the middle of the day so the lighting is harsh. I love the graphic designs of the sculptor. The rust and lichens growing on the stone is beautiful.
